The Lawrence P. Cohen Memorial scholarship has been created to provide the most qualified applicants with assistance in achieving the dreams of a college education. Those who knew Larry understood his passion for achievement through hard work. Additionally, Larry had a passion for seeing young adults achieve while overcoming difficult adversity. The recipients of the Larwrenece P. Cohen Memorial Scholarships will be selected based not only for their accomplishments, but how they handled adversity and challenges along their academic journey.
THE MISSION
The Lawrence P. Cohen Memorial Scholarship Foundation’s inaugural was held on November 14th, 2025. The event was nothing short of incredible. Thanks to the generosity of our community, sponsors, attendees, and every single person who donated, we are proud to share that we have raised over $170,000.
From the moment the doors opened to the last person leaving, the energy, support, and love in the room were undeniable. Our scholarships will directly impact children in academic communities, providing educational opportunities, removing barriers, and helping shape futures. Thanks to the support, countless young lives will be touched in a meaningful way.
